GETTING TO KNOW YOUR STYLE
You want to give it a go? Great! Let me explain how I get to know and understand your style.

I always recommend a complimentary, no obligation trial of 30 images of your choice to give me the opportunity to learn and understand your style and preferences. I will also send you a quick questionnaire, which helps me get inside your head!

I then start by setting up a shared dropbox folder which is an easy way to exchange files between each other. If you have a whole wedding ready to go I can definitely choose 30 sample images from throughout the day and work that way too.
​
I pride myself on consistency! To me it is the key to branding and ensuring a solid portfolio. I highly recommend that you work with one colour preset and one black and white preset to ensure the images I edit for you are consistent and leaves you with a strong body of work.
If you don’t have a preset or don't particularly love yours, I can help you come up with something new or just tighten up what you already have!

WHATS INCLUDED?
I will do what it takes to make the images look just right! However all corrections are made in Lightroom – I do offer Photoshop retouching as an additional service, if this is something you are interested in then please get in touch
Some examples of the adjustments I make image by image include:

CROPPING / ALIGNMENT AND REVISIONS
Due to the subjective nature of cropping I do need some guidance on how and when you would generally crop. Before we start I ask you to fill out a quick questionnaire which will provide me with further information on how you like things cropped however as a general rule I straighten horizons and architectural elements

If you are ever not 100% satisfied with what I have produced all I ask is that you reach out straight away and let me know what needs tweaking and I will make sure I have a revised catalog back to you within 24-48 hours
HOW DOES CULLING WORK?
I am fortunate enough to have started in photography shooting anything and everything from families to weddings to animals and therefore I completely understand the importance of selects. I find that because I'm not emotionally involved with the images I can decide with my gut instinct on what selects are worth keeping in and the ones we need to leave behind.

Each image is viewed full screen which allows me to see as much detail as possible. The beauty of working with Smart Previews in Lightroom (which I will explain in more detail if this is your first time outsourcing) is that you are able to send across all of your images in one catalog. I generally make selects with 1 star - however if you are used to a different system let me know and I am more then happy to adapt.

Once culling is complete I move onto the editing stage, which often gives me a 3rd run through to make sure all the best selects are there and that everything is in focus.

If you would like me to cull, you simply need to provide me with a target number.

BEST OF THE DAY
I also offer a highlight selection which is a separate image selection process of up to 50-100 of the best images of the day. This option is used to save you even further time with blogging, sneak peaks, album design and client slideshows. If you would like a highlight selection it is an additional AUD $25 (exc GST)
